Biography

Growing up as the son of a preacher, Andrew has been exposed to music all his life.  He has been singing in church since age three and has developed his gift of vocal performance extensively.  Andrew moved to Raleigh, North Carolina ten years ago, leaving his home state of South Carolina.  At the age of 14, he fell in love with country music.

Andrew graduated from Athens Drive High School in 2005 where he was an all-conference pitcher and outfielder on the baseball team.  He was also a member of the award winning Athens Drive High School Wind Ensemble Band.  His involvement in the church grants him the opportunity to play trumpet and drums and sing in various worship services.  In addition, he provides student leadership at his church, Macedonia Baptist, and participates in various community activities.

In early 2005, Andrew traveled to Nashville, where he recorded his first CD. A single, “I can see you lovin’ me”, was released to radio. This was made possible after he won a talent showcase in Hilton Head, South Carolina.  He has participated in the well-known IMTA (International Model and Talent Association) showcase in New York, where he won several categories involving singing, dance, and drama.  He has studied music, acting, and dance with coaches from New York, Los Angeles, and Raleigh.

Andrew completed a music video project in October 2005.  “That Girl Inside My Head”, written by Clint Daniels and Tony Martin of Nashville, is being used for promotional purposes with record labels.  His newest CD, “Look Out Below” will be released June 29, 2006.  This CD is Andrew’s way of communicating his love for the classic, contemporary, and cross-over styles of country music.

CMA Fest 2006 provided Andrew the opportunity to sing at Wolfy’s Den on Broadway and open for Keith Anderson’s fanfare party.  His high energy performance includes dancing and a unique ability to make a personal connection with his audience.
